Wanderlust Alumnus to play Superbowl Half Time Show

What do the Super Bowl, kale chips, and Wanderlust all have in common? Bibi McGill! 

Avid yogi, Wanderlust veteran, and super food rock star, McGill will be playing the super bowl halftime show as Beyonce's lead guitarist. Check out the photo she posted on Facebook from her recent rehearsal! Bibi's guitar skills are just the surface of her many talents and passions - she founded her own Kale Chip company, Bibi KALE Chips, and also teaches yoga at Root Whole Body.

But she doesn't leave her healthful aspirations and habits and home when she goes on tour. Instead, she serves as de facto tour health guru to her band and crew. She shares in a Willamette Week interview, "This year I've moved from being the musical director for the past 5 years to being the 'point of contact,' sharing health and wellness with anyone and everyone on our touring team who is interested," McGill says about her on-the-road experience.  Now, we know you're all wondering what Beyoncé's favorite pose is, but McGill claims "I can't say that Beyonce does yoga. Not yet! I have been known to lead us all in a few yogic stretches during our prayer circle before we all go on stage." Read more of Bibi's interview, including her definition of "galactivated", right here. 

"I went to my first yoga class in 1998 in Santa Monica, CA, and I was a little scared, and when I left I felt like a different person.  I felt like I was clear, I felt like there was energy running through me and all round me, I just felt high, I felt like I could fly, and I know that it would always be a part of my life. Yoga is for everybody, and I represent that!
