Naropa University Speakeasy Lecture Series
The Speakeasy is Wanderlust Festival's unique lecture series on subjects pertaining to the mindful life. With inspiring and insightful offerings from a wide range of presenters (including prominent yoga teachers, wellness industry leaders, authors, musicians, and more), the Speakeasy is just that - a casual experience where presenters can "speak easily". These are not stuffy lectures, but rather intimate conversations that take place in a cozy room where you can get up close and personal with some of the most engaging personalities at Wanderlust.
Our Speakeasy guests run the gamut from holistic medical experts to technology buffs, from filmmakers to yoga teachers, from authors to CEOs with green business models. These inspirational figures cover a wide range of topics including meditation, nutrition, technology, music, organics, spirituality, yoga, and more. Our lecturers have included Dr. Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Moby, Aron Ralston, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Congressman Tim Ryan, Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Elena Brower, Adrian Grenier, Mariel Hemingway, Kris Carr, Majora Carter and many others.
Since 2010, the Speakeasy Series has materialized into one of the most exciting parts of the Wanderlust festival. Click here to check out previous Speakeasy videos here (2010 | 2011 | 2012). Our 2012 Speakeasy videos are being released weekly and will continue to come out as we take our festival through 3 states and up to the province of British Columbia.
We have confirmed speakers such as Moby, Congressman Tim Ryan, Joel Salatin, Dr. Mark Hyman, Rolf Gates and more for Wanderlust Colorado. You can register for their classes on our scheduler, here, and remember that these lectures do not count towards one of your three scheduled activites per day. We will accommodate drop-ins on a first-come, first-served basis although we highly recommend signing up in advance for speakers you would like to hear.
